Tissot and the NBA: The Ultimate Long-Term Partnership

Tissot, the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), and the NBA G League have announced a multi-year extension of their global marketing partnerships. This expanded collaboration includes the introduction of a new timekeeping system and state-of-the-art designs for sports watches. Tissot will continue to be the presenting partner of NBA Global Game in Europe.

The announcement was made by Tissot CEO Sylvain Dolla; NBA President of Global Partnerships, Salvatore LaRocca; and Tissot Ambassadors, NBA legend Tony Parker and 2024 WNBA champion Sabrina Ionescu. They demonstrated the new possession clock before the NBA Paris Games 2025 presented by Tissot, featuring the Indiana Pacers and the San Antonio Spurs playing two regular season games at the Accor Arena on Thursday, January 23 and Saturday, January 25.

This new era prioritizes the commitment to being an integral part of the game and contributing to a positive fan experience. Through the possession clock and the Official Watch, perfect synergies between Tissot and the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League, they will partner with the basketball community on a larger scale. A key part of this will be the launch of an all-new, state-of-the-art stopwatch and timing system. This collaboration seeks to go beyond the court, creating a lifestyle that reflects the passion, energy, and dedication to the game.

The new shot clock design is a significant improvement. With full RGB LED light strips, it can display a wider range of colors, not just the traditional red and amber. This advanced technology will enhance game presentation and offer new basketball operations options, such as integrating a green light signal for coaches' challenges. The design also improves ease of use for fans and players, providing a new level of inventiveness in following the game's dynamics.

In recent decades, Tissot has become a valuable partner of the NBA, the WNBA, and the NBA G League due to its commitment to innovation, precision, and creative designs. This extended global marketing association will be prominent at the NBA's most important events.
