SEIKO PROSPEX SPEEDTIMER SSC947: SOLAR PRECISION FOR ADVENTURE
Â
The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC947 combines the sporty character of a chronograph with the practicality of a solar movement. Its 41.4 mm stainless steel case is protected by a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, while its 10 bar water resistance makes it a versatile choice for everyday wear.

Solar Movement and Power Reserve
Â
The watch is powered by the V192 caliber, a solar movement that offers approximately six months of power reserve when fully charged, with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. It also features an overcharge prevention function, power reserve indicator, date display, small seconds hand, and 24-hour hand.
Its chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments, adding a sporty function that defines much of its character.
Â

Built for Everyday Performance
Â
The SSC947 features a 13.0 mm thick case, a 45.9 mm lug-to-lug measurement, and a 21 mm lug width. The watch weighs 164 grams and includes a screw case back and magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m.
The hands and indexes are treated with LumiBrite, improving legibility in low-light conditions. A three-fold clasp with push button release completes the design.
