Description
Limited to 200 pieces annually: In 2019, MICROMILSPEC launched a test program by distributing 30 timepieces to military personnel within the Norwegian Armed Forces. The goal: to rigorously test the watches in the field and report back on performance and accuracy. These watches were purposefully designed and stripped of all decorations from the bezel, crown, and caseback. A deliberate choice allowing users to easily trace and document their watch’s lifelines.
Years later, MICROMILSPEC has remade the watch from the original test program, using design principles and experiences from delivering 40+ military projects during that time.
Purposely designed without decorations to trace scratches and assess performance.
The unmarked unidirectional bezel, crown, and caseback contribute to the unique look and field of the Field Testing Unit. Executed in a brushed stainless steel case, integrated straps, chamfered crown guard, screw in crown and sapphire crystal.
